Rob Van Dyk Rob grew up in Toronto Canada where he spent most of his youth hockey career playing at the AAA level. After playing for teams such as the North York Canadiens, Toronto Young Nationals, and the Mississauga Senators, Rob began to develop a philosophy in hockey that centered around fun and fundamentals. Attributing much of his skill and knowledge of the game to his coaches and instructors along the way, he understands just how influential those relationships are to a player. Rob developed a lot of his coaching style from the current owner of the very successful Pass Hockey School in Toronto, CA, Kam Brothers. Rob then moved to the Bay Area where he attended college and played baseball for his school. His past few years Rob has been instrumental in building the Oakland Bears Midget program and has had a few of his players move on to junior hockey in the area. Rob and his family have recently bought a house here in the Bay Area where he plans to continue teaching kids new skills and fundamentals to help them become better hockey players. |

Emery Lykins Emery has made the Bay Area his home since arriving here in 2001, has been involved with ice hockey for almost 30 years now, and has knowledge of the game second to none. He has been considered one of the top coaches here in the Bay Area since he arrived by taking his first team to the State Championship. As a coach and administrator, Emery has helped numerous players go to and play at the Junior A and B levels here in the US and Canada, as well as NCAA DI and DIII, with some of them receiving full scholarships. As a player he has played at almost every level available, starting at the in-house level and working his way up to the tier level, to Junior A, and culminating with a professional career. He's been drafted into and played within the Ottawa Senators system as well as spending time in the New York Rangers system. After injuries and the vigorous competition became too much to overcome and coming short of landing in the NHL, Emery decided to start getting involved giving back to where it all began for him. |
